AI use and transparency

What matters most
- Moment Cards in the app are written and approved in advance. Opening a script does not send your family details to OpenAI to invent a new phrase.
- Give me a different phrase rotates among stored, approved variants. It is not live AI generation.
- Your child's name and your comments are not used to train a public AI model.
- You stay in control. Skip any script that does not fit. Email us to ask questions or delete your data.
This policy accompanies the Privacy policy. Phrasewell is a library of pre-approved parenting scripts, not a chatbot that writes new advice in the moment.
1. What you see in the app
When you choose a behavior, age range, and moment, Phrasewell retrieves an approved Moment Card from our content library. The card includes words to say, an immediate action, and related notes. Those fields were edited and stored before you opened the app.
The app does not call a generative AI provider at runtime to create parent-facing scripts. Live phrase generation is disabled.
2. What we may use behind the scenes
Phrasewell may use AI tools in internal work such as drafting marketing copy, blog images, or Growth OS notes. That work is not the same as generating a script for you during a hard moment. Internal tools are not given your child's profile as a prompt to write new in-app phrases.
3. Feedback and improvement
If you rate a script or leave a comment, a person on the Phrasewell team may read it to improve future wording. That is product review, not live generation.
4. If this changes
If we later enable generative AI for a parent-facing feature, we will update this policy and the Privacy policy to name the feature, the provider, and what personal information is sent, before or as that change takes effect.
